Studio Safety Guidelines

Our team is committed to creating the safest possible environment for learning and exploring glass art. While we take every precaution, working with glass does involve inherent risks. For this reason, all participants in glass workshops are required to read and complete a safety waiver 24–48 hours prior to their scheduled class or workshop.

  • Although we have a small glass kiln in the studio, it is our policy that the kiln is never operating during workshops. This allows us to maintain a safe and controlled environment for all participants.

  • For workshops that do not involve glass enamel powders or cutting glass pieces, a waiver is not required. Our workshops that require waivers will be clearly specified in the event listing.

We’ve listed our safety rules below so that you will be properly prepared before coming to one of our glass courses!
