Fused Glass Workshop
From kitchen utensils to coasters, our beginner-friendly fused glass workshops shows you how to cut and shape glass, play with texture, and decorate a variety of functional projects.
What to expect:
Welcome to the Muse Room! We’re so excited to have you join us for an introductory workshop on making fused glass projects. Echo, our fused glass instructor from Flushing’s own Glass Wonderland shop, will walk you through the basics of this medium to a final project you can take home.
If you’ve never cut or worked with glass before, don’t worry! Many of our attendees arrive as complete beginners and leave as budding glass artists. This workshop is designed to guide you through the fundamentals of shaping, designing, and creating your very first fused piece.
Once you’ve booked your workshop, simply arrive on the scheduled date and our instructors will guide you step-by-step through the process. During this two-hour session, you’ll create a layout for a coaster, small plate, butter knife, or stir-stick, then leave it with us to be fired and picked up at a later date.
