Enamel Glass Workshop

Our beginner-friendly enameling workshop starts with Enameling 101, a class where you’ll learn how to transform glass powder into paint and decorate a dish of your choosing.

Welcome to the Muse Room! We’re so excited to have you join us for an introductory workshop in to learn how to paint enamel on glass. Enameling is a historic art form that dates back to ancient Egypt. We are excited to revive this medium in a modern way through whimsical designs and beginner-friendly projects.

If you’ve never painted or worked with glass before, don’t worry! Many of our attendees arrive as complete beginners and leave as budding glass artists. Our workshop is designed to guide you through the fundamentals of mixing enamel powder into paint, designing for glass, and creating your very first enameled piece.

Once you’ve booked your workshop, simply arrive on the scheduled date and our instructors will guide you step-by-step through the process. During this two-hour session, you’ll enamel a coaster, ring dish, or trinket holder—we start with flat glass objects, as it’s the most beginner-friendly surface to learn on.

All art supplies and kiln firing are included in your ticket price. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup 1–2 weeks after your workshop date.

If you’ve already completed Enameling 101 and would like to explore additional techniques or decorate larger pieces (cups, plates, bowls, etc.), we offer extended workshops and open studio time on weekends. Check our Luma page for upcoming Saturday and Sunday sessions and select the appropriate ticket.

We can’t wait to create with you!
